Why Gaspé?

Gaspé has hosted several producing mines in history in a variety of minerals such as lead with the Mine Fédéral during the two world wars (1914-1918 and 1939-1945), copper and molybdenum with Mine Madeleine [email protected]%Cu, and the most famous Mine Gaspé of Noranda Mines in Murdochville that was in operation from 1954 to 1999 and producing [email protected]%Cu with Molybdenum credits.

The Gaspé Peninsula has been grossly unexplored in the last two decades.

Gespeg Copper was successfully able to acquire a 750sq/km land package surrounding Mine Gaspé including Mine Madeleine and the known non 43-101 resources of Sullipeck project of [email protected]%Cu. Our goal is to define the sectors with the most potential and to acquire new projects of interest to our portofolio in the Gaspé region.
